I am fascinated by the world of perception. I enjoy observing people and how they perceive, interact, and react to the world. The further their perception is from reality the more interesting the interaction becomes.
My previous and current artistic endeavours have all come from a real approach to drawing and painting. I am in a stage of experimenting and learning to control new mediums. Even if it may not show in my current work, I am heavily influenced by Pop Surrealism. I think Georgia OKeeffe was accurate in her statement that 'nothing is less real than realism.' As I progess through mediums I am certain my work will take on more surrealistic appearances.
